Back in October we took a 3 day retreat to Branson Missouri with the CALO leadership team.
It was absolutely the best weekend to go.
The colors were in perfect brilliance and the weather was fresh and enjoyable.
It was a little piece of paradise.
Our first pit stop was the picture at the top of this where we all ate at Lamberts restaurant. Everything there is BIG! Big mugs, big plates, big rolls they THROW to you across the restaurant!! We LOVED it. Such a fun place to go.
Then we arrived at the Big Cedar Lodge and weaved our way in and out of the acres and acres of beautiful land and hotels of the resort. It was pretty spectacular.
It was like a big family reunion because we just love the people we were with and all the kids had a blast playing together for a few days. It was a great memory maker!!
We had:
authentic cowboy serenades with lakeside BBQ
horse rides
a day at the aquarium
tram ride up the canyon with animal sightings
yummy meals
fun entertainment
beautiful scenery
outdoor swimming
Kambrie LOVES Rylee. She was in heaven getting to spend so much time with her.
Rylee is so sweet to always play with her...like the little sister she never had :)
This literally took my breath away. Probably one of the scariest things I've ever done. After I realized that a boa constrictor was actually ON ME and could actually KILL ME if it wanted to, and I was doing everything I could not to pee my skirt.
This tram ride, in the pouring rain, was one of the prettiest things I've ever experienced. It was so gorgeous. Waterfalls non stop, miles and miles of green and red and orange and colors galore. Such a beautiful earth we live on. It made me so grateful for the creations we've been blessed with.
