March Madness

better late than never...a little recap of March

March is already half over, and here is a glimpse of the Madness happening in our household...

Kambrie has requested to be in dance again!!  I am so excited.  I refused to pay for her to sit on the side line so I pulled her out last Fall.  On her own timetable, she is ready to come back!  And there is no turning back now.  The day we came back we had to agree to the $40 costume, and recital participation in June.
So we're in the big leagues now!

The first day back she was excited and did great.  She stayed in the room the whole time and had fun!  Since then she has proceeded to regress back to her own ways and sneak out trying to come sit with me.  I'm working on prepping her (bribing her) into what's necessary to get her to stay in there.  Ay!  Heaven help me if we succeed.

She sure loves to dress up and twirl and totally has a frilly "girly" side to her, amongst her aggression and football fantasies to!  She's one of a kind!

Later this same night of her dance class, when the rain came, she donned her boots and "rain thingy" as she called her makeshift hat/umbrella/cover.
Love the creativity!

Kam LOVES to paint.
I'm wondering if it's really just the mess she likes to make :)

Kam loves to do anything hands on!
I can make her clean the windows or scrub the floor and she loves it!  She loves to use glue and make "crafts."  She begs to always paint.  She just loves structure and having something productive to do....and I need to be better prepared with things for her so she can thrive...other wise she is duct taping her barbies or cutting leaves off the fake plants (I'm waiting for a "hair" story where I find her chunks...
it's inevitable, right?)

Tan the man is another master mind.
Yes these Lego mess is actually a strategically placed creation!

He loves little toys, especially as of lately LEGOS, and making little displays of items.
He's ALWAYS done this.
I'll never forget when he was 4 and we went to Disney World.  In the hotel he had the whole end table arranged with Disney World pamphlets, his new trinkets, and souvenirs from the trip all neatly out to view.  It was so cute!

It totally warms my heart to see this view.  He FINALLY likes to read!  He has really excelled this year and I'm so thankful.  I know it will bless his life greatly and this is a skill you just HAVE to master in life to succeed.  So it makes me happy to see his progress and especially to watch him enjoy and request to read!!
Never say never.

He loves the great outdoors.
Whether it's in the snow or in the leafy tree tops!

Our three pigs in a blanket all just love and adore each other!  I love watching them play...when they get along ;)

Bryelle gets cuter every day.  She is getting so big and so fun!  We can't get enough of her.

Life is good!

lately...

My lil miss personality has kept me entertained non stop! Her mispronounced words help me remember she is still just a young, beautiful and innocent child eager to learn and explore.  My favorite words are "maykid" for naked...which she is very aware of making sure no one see's her boobies or her bum, she is understanding modesty...she loves to drink "lemonlade" and is obsessed with her pink "swimsoup" that she wants to wear swimming every day... Oh how I love my girl!

This little chunky monkey is growing far too quickly for me.  It's refreshing in a sense to know this is my last baby and makes me so eager to think of the future and all the stages I still get to experience with her, and watch her personality develop and learn who she is and will become!  Yet it is so bittersweet and painful in a way to know my snuggles that fit perfect into the fold of my neck with her head will soon be outgrown.  Her tiny body molded into my arms perfectly will soon be too heavy to hold.  The newborn smell is evaporating into the air...oh how I will miss these days terribly.
I love my 18.5 lbs of Bryelle!!
(6.5 month stats)

This crew was when we went and saw The Croods 3D when we were in Oklahoma for Easter.  I still need to update about what a fun weekend that was.

These cute pictures were part of Tanner's second grade project called "Flat Tanner!"  He was mailed to Utah where grandma took pictures of Tanner around town so he could show his classmates what Utah was like!  We also took Flat Tanner with us to NYC while we were there and got some pics for him
These pictures are beautiful and makes me miss Utah and our cousins terribly!!

For Memorial day Gpa Kirk came for an over nighter and then took the boys fishing.  They had a wonderful, relaxing time out in Rockbridge and had some great success.  It was awesome time for the boys to bond together.  Tanner learned the art of fly fishing and quickly started to grow a love for it.
These boys rule my world!
