She thinks he's funny!

These pictures are so precious
they don't need captions!

*2 months old
*just finished eating
*laughing as daddy asks "Whose your daddy!?"

the $125 photoshoot

that was priceless!

These images above are so precious to me!
They are just gorgeous and completely capture the angelic state of Bryelle!   These will be cherished forever.

Above is a "behind the scene" shot of how Melissa did this photo shoot.  She is amazing!  Every time we go to Utah we have her do our pictures.  It was fun to see how she does the babies, and it's just right in the convenience of her living room.  She had adorable background drops and the magic key was using a hair dryer!  DUH!  The noise and the warmth lured Bree right to sleep and made snapping some quick shots possible!!
I'm glad mom was there too.  It was a 2 man show for sure...her holding the hair dryer and me propping Bree's bum, head, or arms.  It was a fun event and the outcome was totally worth it!

That photoshoot was taken back in Nov.  The weekend of the 14-18th I got to bring Bryelle back home (aka Utah) with me to meet some of her fam.
I was originally supposed to just go by myself!

Clear back, long before all this baby business, Landon had surprised me with a flight to Utah for that weekend as a birthday gift.  I was so excited to escape and just have some girl time.  I already had plans of shopping, sleeping, seeing my sisters new house and attending the spa with her...THEN, dum da da dah...we got news that a baby was entering our world!!

Long story short, I wasn't going to go at all, but Landon convinced me to still go, AND TAKE BREE!  So at 10 days old, Bryelle and I flew to Utah and enjoyed a fabulous weekend, sans spa.

(she was so great on the flights.  I had her tucked into my wrap and the stewardists didn't even know I had a baby on my belly until both flights ended.  it was hilarious.  even the girl sitting RIGHT NEXT to me didn't know.  she thought I just had a big blanket on.  Bree never made a peep, so it was quite comical)

So we conspired and planned it perfectly...Gma Heidi was able to come out when she was born and spend a week with us, and then fly back home, on the same flight that I was flying too!  It worked out perfectly.  Back in Utah Bryelle got to spend time with Gma Heidi again and meet Gpa Barry.  She met some of my sisters and many adoring cousins.  She already had a fan club lined up and ready!

Gma and Gpa were so helpful and eager to love on their new grandbaby.  She has definitely been swooned by all!!

Brooke and Savanna thought she was the cutest thing ever!
I'm not sure if Bryelle was ever out of anyone's arms that whole weekend!

Then I was excited to surprise Gma Jan!
I arranged with her husband, Gpa Doug, to make a surprise visit.  She was so glad to meet Bryelle!  Gma Jan just recently got diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  She finished chemo and had testing done to still find out there was cancer in her lymph nodes.  We are so heart broken by this news and continue to pray for her healing and recovery.  Time will tell what the future brings, but we love Gma Jan and her contagious laugh and bright spirit.  I'm so thankful we were able to spend some time together!

It was an awesome get-away, and it's always fun to show off a new beautiful baby!!  I'm so glad Landon allowed me to still go and am thankful for our wonderful family who is always so accepting and loving of our new additions into the family.  We are so blessed!

more with mom and dad

While my parents were here in August/Sept, we got to celebrate the exact birthday of my dad turning 60.  We had an awesome celebration in Utah the month before (cabin in Island Park, WICKED, Rodeo), but his actual day was spent in Missouri with US!!
I wanted to do something fun and special for him and my mom...so I lined up a personal flight just for them (and me of course).

Landon's best friend owns a plane and he was so awesome, he agreed to fly us above the lake and give us a tour.

It was a great SURPRISE!

And it was AMAZING!

Ken didn't even give my dad a choice...he MADE him take the controls...hence the funny face higher above.

It was a pleasant surprise.  For us all!

These are shots of the CALO building where my husband lives :)
They have lake front property for their rec therapy!

We even flew over our house!  I just didn't grab a picture in time...I might have been trying to hold in my vomit then.
I only got a little nauseated.

It really was spectacular to see the place I lived at in a whole new perspective.  I knew there were tree's all around, and I knew the Lake had fingers and outlets that stretched for miles upon miles, but I didn't know the majesty of it all.  It was breathtaking and far more beautiful than I even realized.

It was really cool life lesson too.
Sometimes we don't even know what we have right in front of us.  The things that we see daily in our lives can often become invisible.  Take a step back, re-evaluate, or look at something from a different view.
Perspective.
In really can change things.

My dad graciously helped me during the week without pay!
He was an awesome handyman and offered to fix and do projects without me even asking!!
He rocks!

As always, Kam wants to be hands-on with anything she can...and especially if it involves scissors :)  She was a great assistant.

AFTER:
My magnet board was the best project ever!  I got it from my genius friend Carrie.  We added a sheet metal to the end of my cabinets so I could remove all the clutter from my fridge!  It is SO AWESOME.  I have some organizing bins and dry erase places for notes and to-do's.

The stark contrast of my black fridge was another surprise.  I had forgotten that it was black, it had been covered for so long, it truly was a surprise every time I walked into the kitchen!  lol.

We ALL had a blast with Gpa.  We appreciated his help with everyTHING and enjoyed his love and laughter with everyONE!!

We love Gpa and Gma!
