Thanksgiving part 2
Thanksgiving Eve we had dinner with Landon's side of the family. We gathered at Mandy and Tyler's house in Sandy, Utah, and hung out.

The cousins always have a blast together. Tanner loves playing with Holden who is several years older, and he loves playing with Bailey who is a few years younger. He can adapt well :)
Here is the kids sweet Great Grandma Nuttall.
Tanner, Holden, and Bailey play so well together.
(after Tanner got over his dramatic episode, they were nonstop giggles)
Landon with his mama, Grandma Jan.
And below these three cuties who are each 2, were all born in 2009.
Kambrie, Finley and Jack.
Tyler, Jan, Emily and Landon
We love when we get to spend time with family!
Tanner talk
Today Tanner asked me if he could play in the snow Christmas morning. I peered out the window looking at the dead grass and said "Tanner, we don't have any snow," confused by his comment.
Then with pure hope and trust resonating from his soul, he stated
"but Christmas always has snow!"
So darn cute. However, I think we might have a disappointed boy Christmas morning.

Then tonight after we got home from school and visiting a friend, he stated he didn't feel very well. For the past few months though, he's been complaining of "stomach aches." My sisters kids who are the same age do it too. Weird. Is it something kids go through, or a strange phase? Anyways, I thought, here's another complaint. But he DID look a little more lethargic than norm. So once we arrived at home I told him to put his jammies on and just relax in bed for awhile...thinking of course he'd just want to play when we got home.
He walked in and put on his jammies. Then he layed in bed!!
He was ACTUALLY doing what I recommended!! I went to make some dinner for Kambrie, and upon my return, my little angel boy was curled up, under his covers, fast asleep at 6:30 pm.
I think it's safe to say he's getting sick.
Poor boy. Another disappointment about to occur for Christmas day!

fresh air is fabulous
The kids had fun outside yesterday.
It was a little chilly, but the brisk air felt wonderful and the sunshine was comforting.
Kam had fun swinging, riding her bike, playing in the leaves, pushing her lawn mower, helping dad rake, and running around with her brother...she is a busy body and LOVES to go go go.
Dad found a great way for Tanner to earn some money...and Tanner LOVED it! He is always so dang resistant to any kind of work, but this was FUN to him
for some reason.
Dad would help him fill the bag, and he'd lug it to the backwoods of our yard and created a massive dumping pile! He was working so hard he said it wasn't even cold anymore and took off his jacket. He did a great job. We'd hire him again.
There were plenty of leaves to get rid of...and at $.25 a bag, the total earned for the day was $4.25. Tanner thought it was pretty much the same as a million bucks!
Oh the good ol days when a few quarters changed your life :)
