my reflections

2009 has come and gone so fast, as so will our lives when we review the past. I want to hang onto the moments so fleeting,

and play the perfect times on constant repeating!

As I reflect on my life this entire past year,

the one thing I've gained is a HOPE so clear.

I know that God loves us, He is ever so real,

and the plea's that we pray in earnest He does hear.

Through this journey He's always answered my prayers,

though at times the answer was just taking my fears.

But no longer remain my heart or arms empty,

And I know He has blessed me graciously plenty.

What a beautiful life I've been given on earth,

when it commenced because of our Savior's birth.

My blessings surround me in daily existence,

they were tailor made for me, and not by coincidence.

I thank the Lord daily for freedom, friends, and love,
but mostly my beautiful family sent from the heavens above.
Thank you to angels who've ministered in my life,
and for my loved ones cheers to a HAPPY NEW YEAR without strife!

BRING ON 2010 BABY!!!!

(PS I'm super annoyed blogger posted this really weird. I hope for 2010 they get an upgrade)

3 months

she loves it when you talk to her

she will talk back...she coo's and makes the CUTEST noises

she says MOM. seriously. but really though, it does sound like that.

she smiles ALL THE TIME

you know the bobble head toys. Totally HER.

she tries to do sit ups when she's laying on her back

she is STRONG

she farts and burps more than my boys

she weighs at least 12 pounds

she spits up a little after most burps

she still eats about 4 ounces every 4 hours, 6 ounces before bed

sleeps 8-9 hours through the night

she loves the blanket on her face. when she is tired and you snuggle the blanket around her face her eyes immediately droop and start to close

she is spoiled

she is cuddly

she is precious!!

Christmas morn

Ready to storm the living room and see what good's Santa brought! Tanner asked "how do elves make donuts!?" Getting the pirate ship and octopus he wanted!! I love his smiles and excitement...Christmas is just SO FUN! These two are my greatest gifts!! Tanner was shocked Santa really ate all the cookies and candy we left out! ☺ Kambrie is really excited about her toys too!
Oh yeah, I cut off 5 inches too if ya didn't notice! Landon spoiled me with a gift to the spa Christmas eve morning. First I got a facial peel and massage. Then I got a little abused in my next massage...deep tissue! It felt good AFTERWARDS though. Then I sat in the hot tub for a bit, and took a 45 minute nap on the lounge chair. Next was my pedicure and the finale was a haircut and style. It was a PERFECT morning. Every mama deserves a day at the spa. It absolutely rejuvenates the body and soul!! I've got the best hubby ever. He really made Christmas special this year! We are so blessed. This Christmas was wonderful as ever. We're grateful to have monetary comforts, but are especially thankful for the greatest blessing we could ever be given...a chance to live with our Father in Heaven again, because our elder brother Jesus Christ was born, lived a perfect life, and died for US...to help us gain eternal life!

the night before Christmas and all through our house

...we were building Kambrie's coupe for Christmas!! So stinkin cute!! Kambrie saw it early...but I think she forgot about it by Christmas morning and it was a new surprise all over again! Then for dinner we went over to this cute girl's house! Thanks Nancy for hosting such a fabulous night. It means a lot to have somewhere to go (since we have NO FAMILY around). We love our friends here, they mean the world!! Cute Carrie capturing moments too! The kids were so cute and excited to act out the Christmas story!! It was a fun night. ☺

felt fun

Tanner and I had fun this past week making some FELT projects. There is a lot you can do with felt. Add a sewing machine or hot glue gun and voila...you've got some cute crafts!
These are felt Christmas mice. Tanner is pulling a funny face here because he's laughing at how big I cut the ears! We've got a cute dumbo mouse!!
The next day we did more felt, and this cute alien was all Tanner's idea. I sewed the main white head and he wanted to add the eyes and then thought of doing the antenna's with the straws. What a brilliant idea! Luckily I had some in stock :)
Here is a Mr Potato head I made...I wanted to velcro all the parts so they could be interchangeable, but I sewed the main body before sewing the velcro and then it became impossible to sew the velcro in place, so we just hot glued the pieces and now it's a permanent funny guy potato head.
Our last project for the day were these snake pens. Super easy and fun. Make any kind of bug...just wrap around the pen and glue. Maybe Tanner will want to work on writing his letters more now, since he has a fun pen to write with!!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
I wish my dearest friends, family, loved one's and acquaintances a beautiful and wonderful day.
Thank you for making my life so much richer!!
From our family to yours...HAPPY HOLIDAY'S!
