livin' la vida loca

I am staying so stinkin' busy here, it's awesome, but I am so far behind on everyone's blogs. AHH!
We are having tons of fun...this past weekend we went to
THANKSGIVING POINT.
The dinosaur museum rocks!
There were tons of hands on activities, playtime for the kids, and awesome dinosaur replicas...they loved it.

a lot of cousins

(four of them are actually my cousins, not Tanner's!)

I also had dinner with my blogging buddies at Corbin's Grill in Layton.

It was delicious dinner, fabulous company, and awesome girl talk.

We stayed up late chatting out on the grass after dinner and got hit on 3 different times from silly teenage boys. It was hilarious. We were about to show them our diaper bags and mini vans, but then they got the clue!

Then we had a

family party

with Landon's family. Landon, his brothers, and dad went camping up in the Uintas. They hiked, camped and fished for several days and when they all returned we had a get together since we were in town, and Carson was in town from Florida (we also celebrated his bday).

It was fun being together!!

I was sad when I had to say good-bye to my precious husband.

He unfortunately had to go back for work. Boo hoo.

We miss him tons and are grateful he is letting Tan man and I stay out here for some more fun.

We've also seen the movie

Wall-E,

attended the Ogden, Raptors

baseball game,

and had tons of fun seeing friends and playing with family...

more to come

yippee!

an extra holiday for us!

I love Utah because we get an extra holiday...
Pioneer day, which is today, July 24th.
Thank you brother Brigham for discovering Utah!!
It's a pretty big "cowboy" day as well.
Some of you might not know this, because it isn't very apparent in my lifestyle of living, but I do have some
cowboy blood.
My dad grew up on a farm and was a little cowboy himself...and still professes to be one to this day! I have cousins that are huge cowboys and rodeo, it's fun to watch them.
We attended the rodeo tonight in Ogden, Utah.
We walked into the arena and Tanner immediately said
"all the horses are farting,
it stinks bad in here!"
It was hilarious!!!!!
We had a great time.
We had VIP status because my dad works at WellsFargo and got awesome tickets.
They fed us dinner before
and we got shaded seats right above the stalls. It was awesome to see the cowboys gear up for their bull and horseback riding.

my cousin Cody

my cousin Chrisandrea who does the rodeo pageants...

she won 1st runner up tonight!

We sat right next to Governor Huntsman and his family too.

lucky us

the rodeo clown was pretty hilarious...

He kind of heckled me and then came up to get our section cheering and gave Tanner a Hi-5.

Fun times!

just a few smore pictures

Who doesn't love
smores!!!!????
the smores were a hit,
and a few more 4-wheeling pix
these were a hit as well!
it's soooooooo fun to ride...
the little kids and even the big kids loved it

advised warning

LOTS OF PICTURES

We made it to Utah. The flight was great. Tanner checked out the airplane manual (like he does each time) to make sure we were safe!

As soon as we landed we took off to Island Park. Here we are in Idaho Falls

having a little picnic lunch/pit stop by the river! It's so beautiful there.

We arrived in Island Park and spent almost 4 days fishing... playing on the docks...

playing in the water...

enjoying the beautiful scenery...

lucky me, getting pooped on by the birdies....

Tanner of course not wanting to be in the pictures...

(held down against his will!)

playing in the cabin...

hot-tubbing...

4-wheeling...

and having a great time with our family!!!!!

My vacation has only just begun!! It's been awesome so far :)
