Good bye!

Utah, here we come!

I am so excited.

We are going to play in the snow, go snow shoeing, snowmobiling, go to a Jazz game, veg out in a cabin and play games, eat, relax and laugh until we die, finish up Christmas, start a New Year...

It's going to be fabulous.

I can't wait to see all our family, and friends!!

and just relaxing and enjoying a fun vacation even though it's going to be freezing and snow filled...

I never have enough time though. My day's get so full, so don't take it personal if I don't get to see you this trip. I really want to see EVERYONE, but it's going to be tight.

She quilts blankets, pillows, table runners, upholsters, has fabulous taste in decor, has her own line of fabric that she and her mom design, she is an amazing photographer, an adorable mother...the list goes on and on and on.

She took the time to make me this specialized quilt

just because,

and I am truly touched.

I LOVE blankets and I will eat, sleep and drink this one.

It is to die for.

Now I can be completely selfish and never share because there's proof it is MINE!!

We're so grateful for our fabulous friends here...the Koeppen's invited us over for dinner Christmas eve with several other families. We had a great time, yummy food, and the most adorable Nativity re-enactment ever!!!

Decorating the tree!

Yes, we just did it today...and check out the tree we used!!

I don't know why we haven't gotten out any Christmas decor yet. I have BUCKETS full and haven't done one thing with them. We have these 2 little trees I use as decor all year long and thought we might as well decorate them...so I put Tanner to work and he had a blast!!!!

Now I feel festive!

Par-tay at my house!

We had a Christmas party tonight at our house and it was sooooooo fun! I just posted a ton of pictures on my facebook account, but I have to do it here too.

We had an

ugly sweater contest

and that was the best part. It was hilarious. The guys looked absolutely hilarious (in practically all women sweaters) and the girls had some doozies too!

My $2 thrift store jewel...puffy sleeves, bow in the front, small sleeves, HIDEOUS! It was so hard to buy it, I didn't even want to spend the $2. ha ha.

Rachael and Jason both won for worst girl and guy UGLY sweaters!!
