Family time!

A trip to St Louis!
My mother-in-law is here from Utah and we are so excited to have her! We spent the last 2 days in St Louis and are having a great time!!!! The first couple of pictures are from the Union Station in St Louis. It used to be the biggest train station in the nation. It is now a shopping mall with restaurants, very cool atmosphere. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe...but before that we watched a fudge demo where they suckered us into buying a TON of fudge which we have been eating for days now and is making me sick. Oh, but it is really really good. The african american guy making the fudge was quite entertaining. He was singing and having all of us in the crowd chanting and clapping and having a good 'ol time!

The next day we went to the Gateway Arch but didn't get to ride the tram. It was sooooo busy. I've ridden it before, but Jan and Landon hadn't, so that was a bummer. We still got to see the enormous structure and browse around the museum though.

We ate at The Cheesecake Factory afterwards!!!!!!! ahhhhhhh. What would we do without good food!?.

Speaking of...I'm going to finish my cheesecake now. Adios!

Christmas was a success!

Tanner's multiple personalities!!
Tanner had a fabulous Christmas!!!!!
He got S-P-O-I-L-E-D.
We couldn't help from buying him tons of fun toys because he is SO CUTE when he is excited. Mom and Dad were just as excited as him, we had a blast.
Plus, you forget that cousins and grandparents give toys too...so that adds to the loot.
Tanner switches between each outfit all day long. One minute he's captain Jack and we're fighting pirates, the next minute he's cowboy Bob rough 'n tough and twirlin' his guns. It's adorable.
We were very fortunate to have a great Christmas. I think we are set on new toys for quite awhile...considering we bought even more toys with the Christmas clearance sales! YIKES!

A time for firsts.

One cute kid for being doubly sick!!
I forgot to post these pictures...Saturday on our way to Landon's work party we stopped by Urgent Care for Tanner to see a doctor. He had been complaining of his EAR hurting. He had a fever and it had been going on for a day, so we decided we should take him in. Sure enough both ears were red, and a sore throat. This is his first ear infection...he got a double wammy!!!!!! Pretty good to go three years without one.
He's been taking antibiotics and is doing much better. He had PLENTY of energy for Christmas festivities today. We had a blast all day. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
Hope you all had a GREAT Christmas too!!

It's Christmas and...

It's Christmas Eve and in two hours, central time, it will be Christmas! There are a few things I'm NOT grateful for. I'm not grateful that I wasn't able to get pregnant this month AGAIN, after month after month after month after year after year after year after year...of trying. I'm not grateful that half of my day was spoiled because of that depression and sadness. I'm not grateful that we have NO family close by to spend the holiday's with. That's it. I'm NO scrooge. Those are just the hard cold facts. Everything else in the world that exists, I am grateful for (that's a stretch, but almost true!)

I am grateful to have family I can email and call, even though they are far away.

I am grateful to HAVE FAMILY (extended, immediate, in-laws, step family...)

I am grateful for an AMAZING, unbelievably patient, loving husband who I get to keep forever and ever.

I am grateful for a beautiful son that came into our lives, healed our hearts and brought us more joy we ever could have EVER EVER EVER imagined.

I am grateful for my health, happiness and LIFE itself.

I am grateful for the first time after 7 years of working the holidays as a nurse, I don't have to!

I am grateful for a comfortable home, plenty of clothes, and food to eat everyday.

I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and that our Savior Jesus Christ was born to save us all...and for that very reason we are celebrating right now.

I am grateful for my Savior that can comfort me when I have my ungrateful moments of sadness. He knows me and He understands my pain.

I am grateful for ALL of my many many blessings and for everything else I have and know that was given to me from a loving Heavenly Father who knows me and loves me in return.

I am grateful for that knowledge, that has forever changed my life.

I am grateful!

Merry merry Christmas Eve

We've let Tanner open a gift the past couple of days. This is what he got yesterday!!!! He loves to pretend he's SUPERMAN and have me tuck his blankets in the back of his shirt for a cape. Now he can be the real superman!! Too cute. Hope you all have a great Christmas Eve and hopefully Santa will visit all of your homes tonight! Thank you all for the fun cards, gifts and love sent. We miss you all DEARLY.

Yesterday activites

Tanner's preschool party was yesterday. He has a cute little class of 8 kids. They decorated a cookie, made a cute necklace, and glued "ornaments" to a popsicle Christmas tree with their picture in it (cute idea), and had a gift exchange. It was all fun. I TOTALLY forgot to make his cute teachers a gift though. I had some cute things in mind and never got around to doing it...so 10 minutes before I walked out the door I made these thin mint boxes into snowmen with some cute paper! The teachers thought they were adorable. Better than nutin'!

It was a busy day, after the party I babysat some neighbor kids ((my fav. NOT)ages 4-6 are annoying. All they do is tattle tale).

Tanner was kind of sick and tired. I was tired and stressed from the day before as well...long story.

But by the end of the night I got to be in my sanctuary, on my computer!! Got my slippers on, my black sweats, and my google reader ready to please.

Oh, don't look at my messy computer desk.

Oh oh, and thanks yall for the hair adivce. Sure do love ya. I'll probably keep it how it is for now and see how long I can get it before I can't stand it anymore! ha. I really do appreciate ya's :)

which of the three??

Hey girls, I know you will help me out here! I'm in a hair crisis. It's funny my friend Crystal just posted her new hair-do (cute!!) at the same time I wanted to do a post about my hair!!
I'm having hair stress. Check it out.
So...you know...this is me now. My hair is starting to grow past my shoulders. My bangs are long and it's all pretty much just growing out be default because I can't decide what to do!!
Below is how my hair used to be. It was really long and I liked it, but as you can see...I wore it back all the time. I LOVE long hair though and think it is so beautiful...just maybe not for me??
Funny pix huh. I totally kicked that bronc's butt.
Right before we moved to Missouri I was going to have a new life, so I decided to have a new do. Below, I cut my hair (6 inches), cut bangs after not having them for 10 years, and highlighted it.
I LOVED it.
This is how my hair is starting to currently look again.

However, I still had an itch for change. After three months of the above hair-do I decided to cut even more (another 4 inches) and darkened it back to my natural color.

I LOVED this do as well!!

So...can you see my dilemma? What do, do I do? Should I keep letting my hair grow by default and get it long again??

Should I just trim it up and fix my bangs and keep it the same???

Or should I cut it to the shoulders again with another touch of dark??

OR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!?

You can honestly tell me what you think looks best!! PLEASE. I'm not high maintenance with hair. I never know what to do. I like simple, fast, easy BUT definitely cute and stylish!

TELL ME NOW! I AM LISTENING. THANK YOU. LOVE YOU.
